After we were married we continued to play parties, wedding receptions and picnics.
We seemed to get the jobs by word of mouth. We were having a great time and learning new material.
We were hired to play a wedding reception for a young couple. The father had heard of us and wanted us to play for his daughter’s wedding. The reception was held at a small restaurant in Satellite Beach. I don’t remember much about the job other than the clothes we wore. I remember because the wedding colors were lavender and I was able to find matching outfits for Larry and I in lavender.
I also remember this party because we had just found out we were going to have a baby.
I love to look back at the pictures and wonder how we ever played with so little equipment.
We still have both of these guitars!
